Assistant Risk Manager, Financial Services

My client is a FTSE 100 financial services company providing a comprehensive service to their customers.

Due to a significant shift in the current market place they are currently strengthening their position and team with the addition on an Assistant Risk Manager.

Your responsibilities will include assisting the manager in

Ensuring that processes and procedures meet with company requirements
Co-ordinating, facilitating and producing risk reports for senior management, risk committees, and divisional risk
Co-ordinating and undertake business continuity arrangements and reporting in accordance with Company policy and contractual arrangements. Co-ordinating appropriate anti fraud, information security, and end user computing controls are in place in each business unit.
Contribute to managing, motivating and developing staff within the Risk Team

The successful candidate will:

Have some previous experience of risk management gained from within a financial services organisation.

Be results driven and able to work to tight deadlines

Have strong communication and relationship management skills.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a FTSE listed team who have large expansion plans over the next 3 years.
