Internal Audit Manager, Banking

My client is a global banking giant who are currently strengthening their high profile and well respected internal audit team.

You are likely to be a qualified accountant who has gained experience working for either an investment or retail bank, or you will currently be working for one of the big 4 working in this field. You will already be at a manager level and keen to move to a higher profile bank, or you will be leading audits in this field and be keen to make the permanent move to managerial status.

You will be keen to learn about high profile and expanding sector and have a strong personality to be able to effect change and influence key internal managers.

You will be able to work under pressure and keen to travel. My client has operations all over globe with particular emphasis on emerging markets so the ability to travel freely is essential.

You will have a good understanding and interest in the banking process and be aware of the risks that this sector is currently facing.

You will have either

• 3 years experience of working within internal audit for a bank and be keen to join a global leader
• Have an external audit background but have worked on financial services clients

Exposure to banking products is essential for this role as is an understanding of the markets.
